Sourcing consumer product goods and helping you become more efficient is what we do best!

The business of import and export extends beyond U.S. borders

Did you know there are resources to help your small business get product in foreign lands?

If you’re in the import and export business, then you know how important it is to expand in order to remain competitive and grow the brand.

In 2024, LGI Branding will be evolving and expanding into “untapped” international markets where women still only make up a tiny percent of business owners to help companies tap into areas of industry and regions where American goods are sought after.

Whether you’re trying to do business with a global corporation like Walmart or a medium to small businesses in the free zone, we can help you. At LGI Branding, we’re working with international governments and trade partners to help companies like yours expand the footprint and tap into the $2 trillion consumer market. Underserved women negotiate like “giants” in supply chain

It takes resilience, tenacity and the right team to navigate in a global economy!

At Leadership Group International, we live by two principles in business: excellence and execution. It is those standards you can expect every time you do business with us. LGI is a woman-minority owned business engaged in the manufacturing and importing and exporting of commercial goods like nitrile exam and vinyl gloves, N95 face masks, etc. used by businesses to operate safely and efficiently. With more than 25 years of combined knowledge and expertise we’ve made it our mission to help our clients navigate the global economy and so you can save money and profit.

With businesses reopening after a year in quarantine, most have been forced to re-think their approach to driving traffic, increasing sales, and finding qualified workers. It all starts by ensuring you have access to the right products and services at the right time!

Our ability to source direct from manufacturers both internationally and domestically and manufacture goods right here in the U.S is what gives us the advantage over our competitors. At the beginning of the pandemic, we were one of the first businesses in the U.S. to manufacturer medical grade N95 face mask in response to the U.S. supply chain shortage. While the demand has dropped significantly, the threat of contracting COVID is still very real.

Today, we continue to support businesses large and small, as well as use our knowledge, business acumen and expertise to help clients get back on track and thrive in the next phase of the pandemic.

Disposable Gloves for Safety and Protection

The health and safety of employees has always been the focus of companies, particularly those whose employees work with food or in patient care. In those industries, wearing protective gloves to avoid cross-contamination is nothing new.

However, because of COVID-19, environmental risks have increased ten-fold and is now the number one concern in a variety of jobs. The pandemic society is forcing business leaders to find new ways to maintain the safety of its employees and customers and disposable gloves is part of the practice. It’s also adding additional costs to the budget. With the costs of goods and freight charges rising globally, most businesses are starting to feel the pinch. We recognize the impact and are making it a priority to make sure we source the highest quality gloves at the lowest price. Whether its TPE for food safety, nitrile exam gloves or vinyl, we’ve got you covered!

Will your business survive another catastrophic event like COVID-19?

When operating a business in a dynamic environment like a pandemic, future-proofing is key to attaining sustainable growth. That means selling a product or service that rivals the competition and not letting up off the gas!

Did you know even the billion dollar beauty industry saw a 14% decline in revenue in 2020. If your business is in the beauty industry chances are you’ve been able to survive the past 24 months. Unfortunately many small businesses did not. The ones that did survive did so by completely changing the business model and now they’re thriving!

The other great thing that happened during the pandemic is it created a lot of other opportunities especially for diverse or “ethnic” markets. Companies like Target and Sally’s Beauty want to do business with businesses like yours but are you ready?

The number one problem small businesses have is not truly understanding what they’re good, picking the right audience, and financing the business without operating in the red.

Right now, we’re witnessing a shift in consumer buying and a total revamping of the type of products consumers are looking for. In order to seize on the moment you must first be doing something your competitors are not!

It’s no longer good enough to just compete. Do you think Tom Brady is the “Goat” because he’s an “average” quarterback? Of course not it’s because he’s mastered his craft. If you are making your own organic eye serum you need that one ingredient the others don’t have. If you’re selling a service what added value are consumers getting?

The number of women in international trade is growing but we still have a long ways to go!

The import and export business has exploded as consumer demand for goods has reached an all time high! It’s no secret women are leading the charge in this global paradigm shift as American consumers continue the ordering binge!

However, women in leadership roles lags far behind that of men who dominate. At the end of last year, only 47% of women participated in the global labor force, in comparison to 74% of men. Additionally, women-owned firms are vastly underrepresented in international trade, with only 15% of those companies exporting from their country. With the record pace of goods being imported daily, we have to change the narrative.

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, exporting has reached $1.2 trillion annually. American companies alone exported $772 billion in merchandise to more than 150 foreign countries. We recognize the business of doing business for our clients means importing and negotiating the best possible price for the goods they require to run and grow the business.

While we’ve focused exclusively on PPE the past year, we’re not limited to any one industry or line of products. Instead, we purchase goods directly from a domestic or foreign manufacturer so you’ll get the best possible price and highest quality of goods.

PPE for Commercial Use.

The biggest threat to companies post quarantine is making sure they have enough PPE to continue operating safely. The increased demand for COVID related supplies like face masks, gloves and disinfectants is causing both a delay and driving up freight charges.

However, our customers don’t have to worry thanks to our foresight, resiliency and planning. Unlike most companies, we manufacture PPE right here in the U.S. so the supplies are on the ground and ready to ship immediately.

Manufacturing N95 face masks to protect against COVID-19.

Not long ago there was a time when we were all “unmasked” and going about our lives, business as usual. However, fast forward and we’re all literally fighting for our lives each day to avoid contracting or spreading the nasty SARscoV2. When we tell clients they have to pivot to survive, it’s not just words. We know first hand because it’s literally the one thing keeping us afloat during the pandemic. Producing surgical grade N95 face masks and other essential PPE is one thing we’re most proud of. We call them '“Black Tech Mask” and they’re produced right in the U.S.A.

We’re also educating the public about the importance of wearing the right type of mask and demonstrating the significance of wearing a mask like the Black Tech. Made of 6-ply material and rated ASTM Level 3, Black Tech mask filters 95% of incoming and outgoing particulates and is both flame and fluid resistant. The best part is Black Tech masks can be worn for 7 days before discarding.

In keeping with the mandates of the new administration, our continued focus will be on manufacturing and distributing N95 face mask and educating the public about safety, and proper use of face coverings.

PPE for the Homeless

Working the front lines during a pandemic starts at ground “zero” and we’ve been there since the beginning of the pandemic.

When the entire country went into lock down, the City of Los Angeles was a complete ghost town. Our team was literally one of a few out in the streets sourcing textiles and other materials to make surgical apparel and N95 face masks.

For nearly a year, Leadership Group International has been on the front line manufacturing and distributing gloves and face masks. Most notably, the Black Tech N95 Face Mask. The Black Tech Mask is the first “hybrid” 14-day use N95 reusable mask on the market. We’ve donated nearly 50,000 to hospitals, homeless shelters, grocery stores and other essential workers.

The pandemic is far from over. The work we’re doing now extends beyond the original intent of solving the face mask shortage and manufacturing PPE in America. We plan to use our knowledge and expertise to develop programs and systems to address the health disparities for underserved populations and the digital divide.

“With the support of private industry, state and federal governments we can beat COVID-19 back into oblivion.”
